European Association of Asean releases 2025 strategic road map

Mar 06,2017

Leads: Recently, the European Association of Illuminati issued the “The Strategic Roadmap of the 2025”, which shows the new vision of the European Illumination Association for the development of the European lighting market in the next decade (2015-2025). With the emphasis on energy efficiency, Europa believes that improving lighting quality through LED products, smart lighting systems and human-centered circular economy will become a new driving force for growth in the European lighting market.

First, the reasons for releasing the roadmap

1. The lighting industry is a driving force for improving energy efficiency. People spend about 90% of their time in buildings.

2. The health and safety benefits of workers are not viewed as an attachment value; they are best used as part of saving energy. People spend more and more time living and working. By 2020, 41% of EU people will live longer than 50 years.

3. The potential for saving electricity is huge. Replacing the 60W incandescent lamp with a 6W LED lamp (134lm/W) will save 90% compared to the 2009 case. Replacing 134 lm/W fixtures with 200 lm/W fixtures will save an additional 6% (2W). The apparent additional energy savings will be achieved through special applications in the lighting system.

Second, people-oriented lighting

Technical leader

The European lighting industry is a world leader in lighting system technology and people-oriented lighting. The EU and its member states support the European lighting industry to maintain its current status.

2. Value and work

Raise the idea of “inventing and manufacturing in the EU”; bring more European factories and research climate agencies into focus; development trends promote the development of the industry.

3. Social influence

Through people-oriented lighting and lighting quality, we create a sense of life that gradually improves happiness in both indoors and outdoors.
